It's like Robot Chicken for the radio.

So I've been working on this sort of sketch comedy show for KRNU for the past 2 weeks or so, and I finally got it done. This is a 5 minute pilot that I did as my final project for a class I'm in. It's called Modern Ideals. If the big boss likes it, it might make it's way onto the radio for a regular weekly thing. That would be awesome. I turn it in tomorrow, but you can hear it now. Enjoy.

Red Bullshit

I tried to drink 24 Red Bulls in 24 hours on Tuesday. It didn't work out, but I got some good info for a story in the end. You can read all about it in Friday's Daily Nebraskan. I used to hate the Internet

Well, here I am. On the Internet.
I used to hate the Internet. I thought it was just a massive heap of misinformation and idiocy. Bloggers were the worst of them. I hated blogs above all else.
In my eye, blogs were just ways for any idiot to say any idiotic thing about anything and there would be idiots who would take it seriously. Or most wouldn't take it seriously so it was therefore a waste of time.
Well, the newspaper industry is shifting to a more web-based presence, and I've been doing a lot more with the Internet. I'm beginning to discover that the Internet can be a real tool. It's not all uncredible swill. Some of it still is and always will be, but that's free speech for you.
I've learned that the Internet can be so much more than I ever gave it credit for. So now I'm on it. I'll use this space and the world of hypertext to its fullest extent.
